Covid Catch Plan 2021

From Thursday 24th February 2022, the Government removed the legal requirement to self-isolate upon receiving a positive COVID-19 test result.
Please see the document ‘Schools COVID-19 Operational Guidance’, paying particular attention to page 10 which states:
‘In most cases, parents and carers will agree that a pupil with the key symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend the school, given the potential risk to others. If a parent or carer insists on a pupil attending your school where they have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, schools can take the decision to refuse the pupil if, in your reasonable judgement, it is necessary to protect other pupils and staff from possible infection with COVID-19.’
We would ask that parents and carers continue to follow current guidance.

You will be required to book your child a PCR Covid-19 test and cannot return to school until they have received a negative test result or have had 2 consecutive negative LFT tests 24hrs apart from day 5.
Please inform the School Office of any symptoms and subsequent test results.
