Hello and welcome to Year 5!

Hello! I’m Miss Evans. Having taught Year 6 last year, I am looking forward to working with Year 5 to develop their skills ready for the end of primary school.

Important information:

Every child is expected to read their Accelerated Reader book for at least 30 minutes each night. This can be recorded in their reading records and brought into school each day.

Homework is provided every half term on our link learning grids. Please complete spelling and maths activities weekly alongside one other activity that supports our learning in school. Completed homework can be brought into school or photographed and sent on Class Dojo. ·

PE lessons this year are every Tuesday & Friday. Your child needs to arrive dressed in their school PE kit. This includes a white Barton Clough t-shirt, black shorts/trousers and trainers.

We will begin our swimming lessons in the Spring term.
