Hello, and welcome to SSC Acorn!

Hello, I’m Miss Law.

I’m so pleased to be with our lovely Acorns again this year. We also have some new friends joining us in Acorn this year, how exciting.

Be sure to follow our Barton Clough Facebook page, where we will often feature to show our learning. On this page you will find important information about the year ahead.

Important information:

Every child is expected to read at home each night; this can be their school Reading Book or a choice from home. Please ensure reading records are signed (by a parent/guardian, other relative) and brought to school every day. ·

Homework is provided every half term on our Sway link. Completed homework can be photographed and sent to me on Class Dojo. ·

PE lessons this year are every Friday. Please ensure your child has their school PE kit. This can be left in school if that helps. This includes a white Barton Clough t-shirt, black shorts/trousers and trainers. ·

Forest school sessions are now Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Please ensure your child has spare clothes / an overall to wear for these sessions. Again, these can stay in school if you prefer. · Any clothes left in school will be sent home to wash when needed, please send them back for the applicable sessions when you can. ·

We have 2 snack times throughout the day, so please ensure your child brings some snacks in each day. ·

Our adults in Acorn this year are Mrs Bessasi, Mrs Yousaf and Miss Zolekha.
