Year 1

Hello and welcome to Year 1!

The Year 1 team consists of Mrs Bennion, Mrs Crouch, Mrs Cooney and Mrs Phoenix. We all work together to ensure the very best outcomes for the children. We are all very excited to be working in Year 1 this year and will keep you up to date with our learning journey on Class Dojo and twitter @BartonCloughY1.

Important Information:

Homework is given out termly in our linked learning grids. The children can bring in their home learning in on a Friday to share in the afternoon.

It is essential that you read with your child for around 20 minutes each night and sign their reading record, reading records should be brought into school every day.

Our PE days are Thursday and Friday, please ensure that your child has their kit in school on both of these days.

Our Forest School Day is Wednesday, please ensure that your child brings in Wellies and a waterproof coat for this session.
