Hello and welcome to Year 4!

On this page you will find important information, reminders and useful learning links for the year ahead, as well as, some useful links you can use at home to support your child’s learning. Important information:

A warm and enthusiastic welcome to Year 4! I cannot wait to share an incredible year or learning, growth and fun together. In Year 4 we will be diving deeper into various subjects, gaining new skills and developing as young individuals.

Throughout Year 4, you will encounter exciting challenges and opportunities! We will also have a big focus on our times tables up to 12 to ensure that we are ready for the times table check in Summer term.

We have PE on Tuesday and Fridays. Please ensure that your full PE kit is in school on these days.

Reading is important; we will be learning lots of new vocabulary as we progress through the year. Reading around 15-30 minutes each night will help with your spelling, vocabulary and idea generation for our English lessons. Please ensure that an adult signs your reading record each night.
